Trained as an archaeologist and anthropologist, Shawn helped build a consulting firm that grew many times over through acquiring strategically aligned companies, led that company as CEO and minority partner with the founder, led through a transaction partnering with private equity, and grew the firm as CEO under private equity backing. Shawn holds a BA in Anthropology from Northern Kentucky University and an MA in Anthropology from The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.
