Luis brings over 16 years of transportation industry experience. Before joining FV Advisory, he worked at Swift Transportation from 2007 to 2023, most recently as Director of Asset Sales and Utilization, managing the lifecycle of 12,000+ Class-8 tractors. His roles at Swift included operations, route engineering, and dedicated pricing. Originally from Sonora, Mexico, and raised in the U.S., Luis's bilingual fluency in English and Spanish facilitates seamless stakeholder communication.
He specializes in truckload, procurement, nearshoring, cross-border operations, and Mexico. Luis holds an MBA from the Forbes School of Business at the University of Arizona and earned a B.S. in Finance, a B.S. in Business Administration with a Certificate in International Business, and a B.A. in Political Science from Arizona State University.
Married with three energetic children, Luis enjoys hiking, weightlifting, working with his hands, and is always the first to hit the dance floor at family gatherings.
